Review on πŸ”Œ BND 65W Portable Mini Travel Charger for Microsoft Surface Devices - Compact & Efficient Charging Solution with 5.9ft Cable & USB Port by Mario Hinton

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Works better than my last one, but there are a few minor flaws.

This product works great on my Surface 3 Pro. The plug fits snugly and the magnet makes for a strong "connection". I also like that the cable from the power supply to the Surface can be swapped out. My last two chargers broke when connected to the Surface. The wire tends to pull too hard on the connector. If you lose connection, all you have to do with this charger is replace the $10 cord instead of the $30 AC adapter (I bought an extra cord as a spare to have on hand just in case). My only complaint is the outlet (power brick). It's long and a little heavy, so it tends to fall out of the nest. I should note that I always leave mine next to the chair. Therefore, it annoys me when I find that the plug has fallen out. If you use it at a desk or desk and connect to the network for each session, it probably won't affect you. My solution was to use an extension cord and wrap the zip tie around the wire (where it connects to the power supply) and then wrap the same zip tie around the extension cord and back to the starting point. This fixes the connector. A bit of a hack but I never have to worry about needing my surface and running out of battery. Overall I can highly recommend this product after about a month of use so far.
