Review on πŸŽ₯ Effortless Video Conversion: VIDBOX Video Conversion for PC (2020) by Alex Jones

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Poor transmission quality

The videos produced look so bad that sometimes you can't even see people's mouths moving when they speak, solid lines look jagged and broken, the movement at the end of the Videos also looked slow for some reason. Facial features and other details that should be visible are simply blurred to the point of blur. Audio is fine. I'm running this on an AMD 8370 8-core desktop computer with 16GB of memory, a few TB of free disk space, and Win 10 Home 64-bit. I have an old ADS Tech DVDXpress DX2 which makes the VHS transfer light years better. than Vidbox seems capable. Unfortunately it only works on Win XP. I was expecting a much better product for the price. Phew, disappointment. ***Update*** I don't need Vidbox. The video quality is too bad to make a DVD out of it. The generated videos only look normal when viewed from a tiny screen like a phone or tablet. On a 20-inch screen, the image is noticeably pixelated and unnoticeable on a large screen. I ended up buying an old computer with a Core2 Duo XP processor ($50) and using my old DVDxpress DX2 instead. The software has fewer limitations and the transmission looks surprisingly good. Due to video quality issues and limited recording time, Vidbox seems totally inadequate for what its description suggests for transferring your treasured memories from VHS and 8mm tapes.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Crumpled
