I bought this because it was the only product I could find that met the following conditions: - had a combination lock - small for documents, not huge heavy secure (just to deter theft/surveillance, not prevention) - fireproof (if it were waterproof) - a pocket that opens at the top like a briefcase to allow easy access to documents and items. So for that matter it's very nice - easy to use. The smaller slots and compartments are perfect for passports, social security cards, birth certificates, etc. The larger compartments are great for wills and miscellaneous documents, while the large compartment is ideal for folders or other large items. My biggest complaint is that this isn't a hard bag. In the photos the bag appears to have hard sides, but it isn't. This makes working with the combo lock much more difficult. You have to grab the lock and pull it to get a good grip and then open the bag. So I stuffed the bag with a bunch of scrap paper to keep the sides taut.
