Save money! The light burned out in the first week I had this microwave/convection oven, which is not covered by the warranty. Contact the service center to replace the branded bulb soldered into the base module. A convection oven does not reach higher temperatures, so it takes 2-3 times longer to cook something. Lower convection temperatures take too long to reach cooking temperature. Microwave power settings do not seem to scale properly. For example, softening butter on power level 1 for 10 minutes will result in cold butter. Power level 2 gives you a puddle of ghee for 2 minutes. Overall I am very disappointed with this device. Sorry Cuisinart, this is just a failure. Incidentally, I bought a cheap convection oven/toaster, which I am very satisfied with.
