Nice fountain, would give 5 stars but just received it had it up in running in 15 minutes. It seems easy to clean and the cleaning brush that comes with it is an extra plus. I checked out the pump and had no real trouble opening the housing for cleaning. Obviously since it is brand new the pump did not need cleaning I just wanted to familiarize my self with all the fountains workings. I love it the soothing sound of the flowing water is so nice. The pump is quiet; however my one cat jury is still out he needs time to get used to it. I believe he will be loved to drink running water. I will update when the one cat jury is in Lol😁 UPDTE: The 1 cat jury is in! Mikey aka Sam cat not only likes it he loves it and so do I! My cat drinks like crazy from it I run it on high for him as that's how he likes it. No more running bathroom faucets Lol. It is super easy to clean including the pump. Love the tube cleaning brush that comes with it and the extended warranty they offered me for an extra 6 months,and a coupon for 25% off a purchase at their website store. I was not expecting anything extra when I ordered the fountian. I was pleasantly surprised when I received these things in my email. So far everything is running great and my cat and I couldn't be happier with this purchase. I WAS NOT GIVEN ANYTHING IN EXCHANGE FOR THIS REVIEW! I INITIALLY REVIEWED THIS FOUNTAIN BEFORE I RECEIVED ANYTHING FROM THE COMPANY, AND HAD GiVEN IT 4 STARS AT THAT TIME. I shopped around a long time before I settled on this one and I would recommend this fountain to everyone. One Caution: The water pump is a small simple one that can be purchased through the company for $12.95. So having worked with water pumps before on my aquariums and other types of fountains these are pretty standard and not really long lived. A little better one can probably be purchased at a aquarium or fountain supply store. I highly recommend turning off at night to save some wear and tear on the pump so hopefully it will last longer. It would be nice if the company could offer a better built pump. That said I hope the extended warranty they offered will take care of the pump should It quit working.
