I love the clean flavor of tropical and Caribbean strains. I haven't tried the apple variety yet. Clean, no aftertaste, no "chemical aftertaste" from sweetener, not too sweet (not as sweet as cola) and just enough liquid that it doesn't feel like I've drunk any liquid. I drink it at 4:30 a.m. and go to the gym at 5:15 a.m. The caffeine wakes me up and my mouth tastes clean (no aftertaste like drinking coffee) and it's convenient to use (grab and go). I don't know if I believe in BCA but there are many BCA drinks on the market with different levels of isoleucine, valine, leucine. It costs about the same as a craft beer IPA, but there are other cheaper powdered drinks on the market. The advantage for me is the pure taste, it supports my morning exercises and it is convenient to use.
