I am a female and bought this for myself as I was fed up with the double standard when it came to swimwear. I'm 5'8", 145 lbs, athletic build. My actual waist is 28" and my hips (at that height I'd wear hiphugger jeans) 35" so I went for a size 32. Other men's sweaters in size A 32 fits me well but this one was too small.The legs are a few inches shorter than pictured and the leg holes squeezed my hips.Also small in the waist and buttocks.It's a shame because I *LOVE* the double stripes they fit my Speedo swimsuit top I would trade in for a size up but I found another muffler that I know fits.
