Unfortunately I was not impressed and felt that it was the money down the drain. We bought these because they were advertised as a type of shoe that can get wet, dries relatively quickly, is comfortable and has some stain resistance. Oh, and they looked pretty too! We spent some time looking for this shoe, reading all the descriptions and reviews, good and bad. Pros: They look good when new. The bad: Can't tell how quickly they dried but he's only worn them on the boat once during the day and they're useless most of the time. We let them dry on the porch for him to wear the next day. They were dry but what you see in the photos is what they looked like. The tarpaulin was stiff, water-stained, discolored at the rivets and side seams. As if the rivets had rusted and then the canvas had become stained. The material became stiff, dirty and was no longer a beautiful shoe. We were worried it might be too good to be true, but that's how it turned out for us. Wouldn't recommend unless you're a sailor who can't fit in the water!
