I have several Columbia products and have always associated the brand with quality. However, these shoes did not live up to my expectations. I've only worn them for about 2 months and the seams have torn on the sides. This may be an isolated case and I'm not disappointed with the brand as a result, but I expect more from Columbia. These boots require arch support built into the sole for comfort and support.

The material they're made of is pretty good but they're not very well constructed and they don't last more than a few minutes. When I'm on my boat for a few minutes I tend to take them off and prefer dealing with a hot deck than these. The toe box is a little narrow and the rest of the foot is a little wide (no, I don't have an unusually shaped foot).
