I replaced the Asus X299 board with this board after Asus suddenly stopped publishing, only 17 months. After two frustrating weeks with Asus, they took the board to RMA and blamed the problem on a bent CPU pin as I hadn't touched the CPU socket since installation. So, I'm done with Asus. This board is much faster with the same memory and processor as Asus. It's rock solid and will take anything I throw at it. I use PS, In Design, Premiere and some other applications, process videos in Median Encoder and edit them in Premiere and Photoshop. Just a great board. Before my last build I had an EVGA and foolishly went to Asus for $125 more for that fee. Never again.
