Review on 🔌 Industrial Electrical USB C Gen1 USB Cable by AmazonBasics by Steven Brouillard

I bought this cable 1.5 months ago and have only used it a few times. I plugged it into a 1 amp charger and used it last night and this morning I went out and got my day done and when I plugged it back in I found it wasn't connecting to my phone. I looked at the phone's charging port, then the cable. I saw that the end of the cable was completely melted in the closed Type-C connection. I don't know when it happened but it was still connected. I'm glad there was no more damage than melting the end of the cable. Very disappointed. I'm concerned about the Revain Type-C to Basic Type-C cable I have.
