At first I thought it was a malfunction as the readings fluctuated wildly. I contacted support/troubleshooting and after receiving instructions I was able to use them exactly as intended and can vouch for their accuracy! I went to the training field with my neighbor (who has a famous range finder that costs three times as much as this one) and we took 10 separate readings on the same objects standing next to each other. In 9 of those 10 measurements, the wellray finder showed distance measurements within 1/2 yard of a popular brand range finder. On another occasion (this was actually the seventh reading) this model provided readings that exactly matched the other. I had to work very hard not to brag about getting almost the same performance for a fraction of the cost! I would definitely recommend this to any golfer but especially for those just getting into the sport which of course can get very expensive even without one of these finders!
