The price is right, the bike carrier is excellent. We have used 4 bike racks for our daughters bikes and have ridden over 1000 miles. We attached the trunk to our 2001 Chevy Suburban. 2 bikes During our trip we only had two bikes with us. We're not big bikers, just a family with kids who want to ride bikes, so we didn't want to spend too much money. This bike rack is perfect. We used the bolt and screw it came with and there was absolutely no wobble, movement or noise as we rode over 1000 miles. On the trip we could easily get a 24 inch beach cruiser and a small bike with training wheels on the rack. We had to adjust the straps to tie the bike down, but it wasn't too difficult. We also used ropes to secure the bikes just in case.4 bikes On other occasions and times we were able to easily fit a 26 inch beach cruiser, a 24 inch beach cruiser and two bikes with training wheels on the trunk. We loaded them with the largest, we didn't buy a crossbar. Instead, we placed the stand between the bike frames so the bikes "sit” on the stand. On some bikes we had to turn the straps inward to allow Tetris to turn the bike on for a more secure fit. We also flipped the last bike to fit through the training wheels. We turned each bike in the opposite direction when tightening so the pedals wouldn't bump into each other. Putting 4 bikes on this carrier is absolutely feasible without crossbars AND with children's bikes with training wheels and is absolutely worth the money. easy to install. The boom folds away while still attached to the truck when not in use. The luggage rack folds down with all 4 bikes on it. We were able to fully open the Suburban door with all 4 bikes on the rack. Although it's hard. My husband held the stand while I removed the pin and then slowly tilted the bikes down. Once we had access to the rear, he raised the bikes back up and I reinserted the pin to secure it. It's pretty easy, just difficult with 4 bikes. I could do it myself with just two bikes. Overall, this is a great bike rack and a great price.
