This antenna is perfect for my application. I have a 1995 GMC Jimmy with a 2" lift. I park in a garage and needed an antenna that wouldn't touch the top of the garage frame. While testing my ham radio setup with the Comet antenna, I was able to find one about 40 miles away Reaching repeaters with minimal noise/interference according to those I spoke to My Icom IC-208H was broadcasting 50 watts through the antenna.
