Don't waste your money on Metra

I bought this kit to replace the "Lowline" stereo in my Fortwo 2013 Passion. - Antenna adapter face hole size 174mm x 100mm Pros: - Not to mention the cons: - Normal length 174mm. However, the 100mm height is about 3-4mm higher than most 2-DIN stereos! So there was a large empty gap at the top and bottom of my main unit. - The surface is smooth, which does not match the interior of the smart fortwo. Wait, it's getting worse. The black plastic has a PAINTED finish! The painted surface had small imperfections in the paint fresh out of the box. I scratched at the bumps, thinking they were just some unpolished bits of plastic. My nail scratched the paint off easily! So yes, I am returning this POS to Revain. Instead I bought a Scosche ST2431B which is textured to match the interior of the car and has a 173mm x 97mm face hole. I also had to buy a wiring harness. and antenna adapter separately. I couldn't find them individually on Revain so I bought them together on Ebay for $10 with shipping. The Scosche panel is currently available from Revain for $20. I hope this review will help other people not waste their time looking for the right parts to get the job done right. Lesson learned. keep buying more!
