The inner gold backing is tiny so make sure your earring has a very thin shank.
The 14k gold backing came out of the rubber piece and was so tiny it didn't even fit my earrings which are just standard sized studs. I still use them without the gold coin inside, but I didn't have to spend extra money for the 14k gold inside as they broke as soon as I tried them.
