Review on 🔷 Blue Corner Rounder Punch - 5mm - MyLifeUNIT by Nicole Mcleod

Ordered to trim the tabs on file folders that have been laminated. There were no instructions for the tool so I gave it a try after figuring out how it works. All he did was scratch the plastic/laminate. It didn't cut through with a nice clean edge. I tried making a second cut but it still didn't cut through, but he cut a bit more so I could pull the piece out. I had a sharp, torn edge on the folder's tab. Definitely not what I was aiming for. It wasn't a thick lamination. Only the standard paper thickness of 8.5 x 11 inches. Because of the way you hold this device (little tip down on the cut off corner) it doesn't work for paper. Trimming the inside corner, like in my case. The side of the flap that I (sort of) cut off was at the very top of the folder (the flap was flush with the main body of the folder). When I tried to cut another corner, this device didn't work because the side of its triangle that should have been at a 45 degree angle down from the cutting tip (parallel to the top edge of the binder in my case) would cut the hit the top edge of the folder, and wouldn't there be a way to hold the device differently.
