Review on Sparx X Triathlon Suit: Ultimate Performance Gear for Men's Racing, Cycling, Swimming, and Running by James Edwards

Great fit, poor workmanship

Pros: - I have a wide chest so finding a good fit is difficult. This suit sits very well on the chest without feeling too baggy in the middle. Overall I was very happy with the fit and found it quite comfortable to wear. It was great for swimming and I had amazing flexibility, the suit didn't feel tight in my chest. The material dries very quickly and the mesh on the back ensures excellent ventilation when running and cycling. I love the pockets in my pants! The handle at the bottom of the suit's legs did a great job of preventing the legs from riding up. - padding in the crotch is ok; good for short trips (12-20 miles) but for longer trips I would wear cycling shorts or another suit. Cons: - Bad line. After two light applications, the seams at the neck began to diverge; an area that is not heavily used. I called Revain customer service and being a third party they could only refund the money and ask me to send it back and order a new one. When I wanted to buy the suit again, the size I needed was sold out. I had to go to another manufacturer to get the suit for the race. It's a shame because I really liked this suit and was hoping that the stitching was a one-time manufacturing defect. - The inseam was a bit longer. I would have preferred to be about an inch shorter but I'm 5ft 7" and I think my sizing is for people who are taller.

Pros
  • Sturdy workmanship
Cons
  • So far so good
