I bought a 5XL for my 52 pound pointer. She is very long and slender and it suits her perfectly. This jacket definitely runs small. According to other charts she should wear a medium size. I went with the sizing chart they provide and I'm glad I did. Be sure to follow the measurements in the chart and, if in doubt, go up a size if your dog is between sizes. You will not regret it. It's very easy to put on except when I try to get her to put on the other sleeve she keeps coming out. Even though it's just her. The jacket is warm and fluffy. It's very easy. Everything inside is black. Outside 2 colors. I bought a pink and black jacket. We used linen rings but for a short walk. I would be more comfortable using her collar or harness because she tends to pull and run.
