Gets the job done at a bargain price

Options are fairly limited for taller warm weather cyclists and even more so for cold weather gear. Finding thermal fleece tights that fit is not easy. Like many others, I am trying to lose weight. I didn't want to spend millions of dollars on winter cycling gear that I hope will be too big in a year, but I also wanted to buy something that would still be in good condition a year from now if my fitness plans were turned down. I'm 5ft 9in, 244lbs, 32in inseam. My jeans are now 16. I have fairly muscular calves and the 2XL was absolutely the right choice for me and my muscular legs. In terms of quality, the fabric and construction appear to be excellent. I think they will hold up well. The stitching looks great and the fleece lining is soft and comfortable. I also like the drawstring waist. The undershirt is tucked in. I have a long torso so that's a problem sometimes. I've been riding in 38 degrees (dry) and have been very comfortable although not sure I'd want to ride in much cooler temperatures no matter what I wear. I think they will be fine until at least 35. They'll be good for 30-40 mile rides or anyone crazy enough to ride that far in the cold. I'll probably do it next weekend. Chamois is the reason I'm deducting a star. It's unsightly wide for the same thickness, so you really feel it when you're not riding. However, I will say that when I was on a bike the padding did its job quite well and caused no complaints. Any ride where I don't think about my step is a good ride and these really fill that need. Overall I think this product is very good, especially considering the price. When I went shopping I found that famous brands cost 3-4 times more and I couldn't justify it. I would definitely buy them again.
