This distribution center worked so well on my old boat that I ordered it for my new one. My boat had the typical single distribution center in the console and the previous owner wasn't particularly well organized to add and remove electrical equipment. I decided to clean it up and split the distribution by adding this new distribution at the end of the boat. I am very satisfied with the result. The box itself sits under the rear seat and is reasonably weatherproof, with the lid snapping open securely, protecting it from direct splashes. I use marine grade cables and connectors and always brush the connections with liquid tape. A few months later, after many trips in salt water, I found no corrosion inside or around the box.
