This cover fits my 13" x 53" ironing board that I bought from Target. With a case, of course, but without padding. I put this one (with a nice sewn in liner) right over the old one. Bright and cheery and just the (odd) size I needed and ordered.

Fits well! There is no lace but it is sewn with an elastic band around the perimeter of the cover so it can be pulled over any size ironing board. A pillow in a case is better than the foam that usually comes with ironing pads. It will probably take longer.

Wow! How do you like the new ironing board cover? If you are left-handed and destroy them because our whole world is backward. Eventually I gave up and kept the same case for a few years. Bought it when I was moving. Holy cow, what a difference! It's a really nice quality. Hard to spoil. Rschunimagu. Highly recommended.

Not as "luxury" as I was hoping for, but it's less than $10 so probably depends more on it from what you pay. He's not skinny, but definitely not fat. I would say it's 1/4 inch thicker than a regular case. It stays in place and works well enough not to wear my cheap ironing board's grid lines through the fabric.

I had an old cheap ironing board and was thinking of buying a new one. After seeing how much a quality board would cost me, I decided to upgrade the cover instead. The new lid makes quite a difference and fits very well. Of course it's not as thick as we'd like, but for the price it's very good quality and exceeds expectations. Recommend.

I really like this ironing board cover so far. It was easy to install and fits perfectly on my standard size ironing board. I love the padding and hope it holds up better than my previous cover which had a foam backing attached to the cotton cover. I'm sure this Whitmor cover will hold up great anyway! The pattern/print is also subtle and appealing. Not that this feature makes the cover do its "job" any better! ;-) The price was also reasonable.

The standard replacement cover is made from cotton, making it durable and naturally stain and heat resistant. I was initially very happy with this replacement cover. It was much thicker than my worn old cover. Ironing just got easier. But after only 3 months of use it shows ironing board marks when I iron something. It's not that bad yet, but at the moment I think that in a few months the traces of the web will be clearly visible on the ironed clothes. Not particularly impressed so far.
