I bought this to transport my slow cooker to lunch. I also planned to use it with another large dish that doesn't fit in a regular casserole dish. I was hoping it would be well insulated to keep my food warm for a few hours. Unfortunately I didn't know that this multi cooker stand has holes on the sides for the multi cooker handles to protrude. (See my photos.) For this reason, it is not possible to keep food warm for a long time. And by the way, if that helps you decide, when I opened it, there was a very strong chemical smell. I received another insulated cake container in the same order as this one and the cake container doesn't smell that bad. So I'm not sure what the manufacturer used in this thing, but just take note. I will be returning it as it doesn't work to keep my food warm.
