Basically a low end product, not particularly sturdy, but acceptable for a simple application. What's unfortunate is the "support" Closetmaid/Ames. While assembling the product I noticed that three of the eight plastic "shelf supports" were missing. I contacted the support email, assuming this simple part could be easily sent out. But no, the support person replied that they don't have any of those shelf supports, and won't be getting any. They actually recommended shipping the entire product back to them for a refund. It's difficult to imagine a more ridiculous suggestion than that, I thought maybe the support person was mistaken. So I then called the support phone number and talked with someone about the issue. They also said they don't have any of those parts and won't be getting any, and that "most people just get them on amazon". Apparently they get a lot of calls about parts missing, and their only "support" is to recommend the customer get parts from amazon, at their own cost. Closetmaid/Ames gets the award for absolute worst customer support.
