I used to manage a kayak shop and learned a little bit about cam straps. These have none of the silly frills that I despise. There are no unnecessary cushioning protectors for the cams (I hate those stupid things.) There is no extra loop to tuck the excess strap under (I prefer to wrap the excess around the cam to act as a cushion.) The stitching that holds the cams is done in the proper diagonal pattern and the free end of the strap has been melted closed with a nice crisp end that slips effortlessly into and under the cam. The strap webbing looks like 600-lbs stuff to me and is as heavy as will work in the cam. The strap surface has the correct weave and texture to hold snugly under the teeth of the cams. I got the 8-pack which offers the lowest cost per unit. If you are even reading this review I suggest that you not waste any more time and just put them in your cart right now!
