This device is mech. I bought this to replace my Apple keyboard which was choppy. This only really works when the keyboard and iPad are fully charged. It does not support Bluetooth connection. Seems to fit in and out. I also don't like that the keyboard is separated from the body. It always seems to require some assembly. Also, the case itself doesn't do a very good job of transmitting the power and volume buttons. If you want to turn it up or down, you have to fiddle around and don't even think about turning it off. On the other hand, it looks solid. The keys are chunky and feel more comfortable than an Apple keyboard.
