I bought these headphones as a disposable headset. The sound is surprisingly good. As with any in-ear headset, I prefer an over-ear headset. I use a pair of $350 ANC headphones daily when the risk of damage is too great to risk damaging. Anyway, I accidentally left these JVC earphones in my jeans pocket and my wife washed and tumble dried them. So I ordered another pair, I mean obviously this pair was toasted. No! I decided to try them for no particular reason and the damn things work just as good as the first day I used them. Crazy but true!
