Worst scanners and accessories

I've never written a one star review in my life, but I have to tell the truth about this HP scanner. Save your money and don't buy this scanner. We are a doctor/dentist office and our IT guy got it online and we've been having issues since I turned it on. Our IT staff had to come to our office during Covid to troubleshoot this scanner in a number of ways, but it's still not working when assigned to workgroup computers. This is by no means an enterprise-class scanner. I don't even think HP did beta testing before launch. When you call HP IT support you get a Costa Rican person who basically just tells you to uninstall and reinstall the software on the HP website and it should work if it doesn't work there, Technical Support tells you to call Microsoft for Windows. that's about 2 hours of calls. Here's my review: The twain feature is so slow or sometimes doesn't work that you can't connect multiple computers to it. We are tired of everything related to ethernet, usb, wireless etc. Unfortunately, this scanner will not recognize any computer other than the computer to which it is connected via a USB hub. I would give it a few years before HP realizes that they either need to update the firmware or release a new scanner. I hope they beta test these scanners before they release them. Look elsewhere, you'll thank me later.
