Review on Super Bright Solar Power Energy Bicycle Red 2 LED Rear Lamp Tail Light by Manni Diaz

Revainrating 4 out of 5

So far so good - lamps and reflectors

I bought this on the spur of the moment to see if it really works. I've had this lamp for about a month and it's still working. The two LED bulbs are bright enough for urban environments, but the light is clearly not as bright as the beefy taillights. I tend to procrastinate on changing batteries, so the prospect of never changing batteries outweighs the lower performance for me. The installation is comparable to other lights, you need a Phillips screwdriver to install and it is on in two minutes. One thing surprised me. When I bought the flashlight it measures approximately 2.75 x 2.25 inches. I misinterpreted the solar panel dimensions listed in the product description as overall dimensions. The flashlight itself doesn't feel bulky, but for those looking for sleek little flashlights, this isn't the product for you. The size is also a bit annoying as I take the light out of my bike if I leave it outside. The main downside of this product, specific to my use, is that the on/off button requires a light press. activate. This makes it easier to use when cycling, but also tends to turn on in your pocket, resulting in a flashing red light in your pants at worst.
