Great wearable camera

I really like this Sony. I bought it because I needed a portable camera. I use a Canon S10 IS, but it's too big to carry around on vacation or casual events. I was wary because the Revain had mixed reviews, but a digital camera review site gave it very high marks. After using this camera for 3 weeks, here are the pros and cons: PROS: Best auto mode I've seen. I've taken photos at Disney World in daylight and low light indoors and outdoors and the shots came out great without the flash. ISO adjusts automatically Burst mode - press and hold the button to take 3 consecutive shots However, if you are in automatic mode and the setting has changed (e.g. from day to dusk) your first shot will be delayed while transitioning to the new mode. Portrait mode recognizes up to 8 faces in your shot, ideal for family or group shots Sony now has an SD card slot in addition to their memory stick, this was a great benefit for meCONS: Shutter speed to change mode as above. You can set the mode manually to bypass this. I still haven't figured out how to stop the preview after the image. I am not sure if this is due to Sony. There is no optical viewfinder. They are less common in small cells but help when it's sunny outside. This camera needs some practice. Not much, but you really need to check out the online manual to get the most out of it. MY CONCLUSION: Overall I am very satisfied with my purchase. If you're looking for an easy point-and-shoot, there are better cameras out there. If you want a camera that's a few steps above base point, this camera is great if you're willing to take the time to learn how to use it. Once you've done that, you can change the settings quickly and easily.
