Review on πŸ‰ BSN Amino X Watermelon Flavor - Advanced Post-Workout Muscle Recovery & Endurance Powder with 10g Amino Acids Per Serving | 70 Servings by Megan Marshall

Good product - it would be nice to know how much it actually contains.

I love BSN and it's a great product that I plan to keep using. The main reason for the three stars is simply the lack of information about the exact amount of the ingredients contained. What is the BCAA ratio (which is less important but not even listed)? When adding sodium bicarbonate (aka baking soda, which works GREAT), the dosage should be clearly stated. Source: best5supplements.com "Potential Risks of Baking Soda: Baking soda is salt, so it can cause problems for those on a low-sodium diet. If you consume a lot of calcium and/or dairy, be aware that baking soda may increase your risk of kidney stones. "Well, it would be nice to know how much baking soda a person is actually consuming. Too many leading supplement manufacturers do not list the dosages in their product mixes and are actually required to list the amounts for safety reasons. What do you all know about the human body right now? Apparently yes, but how is a doctor supposed to assess safety for their patients when they don't even know what's in the product? It's ridiculous but this product actually says consult your doctor even though they won't tell you exactly what they added. Oh, there's baking soda, huh? Interesting, it would be nice to know the actual amount. I am just amazed that it is legal for these companies to sell random mixes of any number of ingredients and not even list the actual dosages, absolutely a disgrace, a disgrace for these companies and the lack of regulations to not be swayed by the to be evaluated by the FDA.
