This candle, perfect color and perfect for my chosen location, didn't work. Realizing it needed "D" batteries, I bought a box of batteries from Revain and installed two brand new D batteries as instructed. I quickly found that the batteries were oriented so that the batteries on the outward facing side made no contact with the bottom of the candle meaning the circuit was not completed and the light was not working. The worst thing is that it looks like it should have been. There was no remote control or instructions in the box. I contacted Sternohome to get at least a "manual" and was stumped. "Not our problem," seemed to be the answer, incoherent and sleepy. Revain returned my money quickly. I was very disappointed. Buy this AT YOUR OWN RISK. Bad bad bad.
