Easy Install for Transmission Components

It was an easy task. In 30 years I've never had to change the chain. However, the chain on my son's bike failed and had to be replaced. You will need a chain breaking tool which I had in the kit but I have never used it before. Remove the old chain with the snap tool, align the new chain with the old chain for installation, and snap the new chain. Once you have done this, the new chain will slide back into place very easily. You insert a special link (count that one link as you cut) and then put it on like a regular chain. By putting on the chain, the special link becomes a normal one. Very easy. Remember: measure twice and cut once.
