This is a rain shower head with remote control from the German quality manufacturer of bathroom and kitchen equipment Grohe. The large shower head is made of chromed metal at the front and back. It is designed to attach to a rain shower arm that extends horizontally through the wall from the vertical faucet tube. The hand is not equipped with a shower head. You will need either a hose with a 90 degree bend at the end for vertical entry into the shower head, or a horizontal hose with a threaded bend and a short threaded vertical nipple to connect the shower holder to the shower head. There is a removable plastic panel on the back of the shower head. Open the panel and find a spot for three AA batteries (included), which power both the remote control receiver and the valve that changes the shape of the shower head. which is screwed to the side of the shower. A press of the remote's (I think) glass surface sends a signal to the showerhead, which changes the shape of the jet accordingly. This is an amazing shower head. If you like pouring rain, this is for you. Grohe is an exceptional quality manufacturer and the valve works surprisingly well with battery and remote control. A small mesh screen and gasket are included to prevent debris from entering the shower head and clogging the holes and more importantly to prevent the valve from working properly.
