After designing and remodeling 16 master bathrooms, I've tried many rain shower heads. I'm always looking for a more invigorating experience rather than "soft rain." My first choice is still 4 Kohler water tiles per frame. However, the 54 injector heads were downgraded to a version in the 20's. Not so good. And super expensive. Simply remove the plug to save water and voila! The remote is easy to install and works like a charm. Couldn't be happier.

If you're installing on a traditional shower rail that's within reach, you might want to check out the multi-mode adjustable hand showers. A remote controlled shower head is another set of batteries and maintenance you wouldn't have otherwise. However, Grohe has made it as simple and reliable as possible. OVERVIEW: Overall, this is a good showerhead for a renovation scenario. The build quality of the shower head leaves a lot to be desired, and the flow pattern is not as good as in special rain showers that are better suited for renovation.
