Review on πŸ–₯️ Ergotron Neo-Flex 33-329-085 Medium Black LCD Monitor Display Stand with Lift Function by Heather Johnson

VERY solid - everyone should invest in something like this

I bought this for my PC. This purchase was prompted when my kitty was chasing a moth and knocked over my 4 month old 21.5" IPS monitor that cost $150 and I was furious - it didn't fall very far, it just tipped more than 12 inches to the keyboard, but the corner of the glass cup hit part of the screen and shattered the glass. , or rather, something behind the glass, and it broke. Not to say that before that there were no skimpy calls with a knock on the monitor either! Reaching for it, tugging on the cable that runs down the side of it, etc. Now I figured every monitor I've ever bought has this crappy 3-ounce half-dollar 5-inch stand I like I understand anyway basically want to pay for the screen. However, most monitors can also use a standard mounting format, e.g. B. 100 x 100 mm. Stand ONCE and from now on every monitor purchase can be blessed with this excellent stand as I renew it every few years. Well that's what I bought. i like the weight It's actually as wide as the monitor! I like that it doesn't tip over. And 50% deeper than the old thin base. it's on 2 wheels Considering my main issue - accidental rollover - I checked it and any off-centre torque, like a kitten chasing a moth, or maybe snagged on a string, I'm much more likely to flip the monitor but not tip over. What's not great is that all that weight is huge overkill for my current 23-inch computer monitor. It was designed for a much larger size. The height and tilt adjustments are both spring-loaded, and you can adjust the spring's tension to accommodate a heavier or lighter monitor. However, even fully depleted it's still too strong for my small screen 5#23". It slopes towards the end and rises towards the end. Annoying at least. I solved this problem with a modest solution by pressing something in between the post and a screen to hold it in place *sigh* But it works and no more tips and falls that I can think of.
