Review on 🐠 Efficient Cleaning with KEDSUM Magnetic Aquarium Fish Tank Cleaner: Glass Cleaner with Floating Brush Design and Handle by Stephanie Polomik

Using it in my acrylic aquarium gave good results. Goodbye algae!

Since I switched to LED aquarium lighting, the algae have started to bloom. I tried the $50 Algae UV Water Filter and it didn't help as much as I wanted. The Mag Float acrylic algae scrapers didn't have a magnet strong enough to get through the crusted algae on the sides of my acrylic tank, so I decided to give it a try. Although the name states that this is a glass aquarium cleaner, the instructions that come with it indicate that it can be used on glass or acrylic aquariums. My acrylic tank was used with a few scratches and the water hides the scratches pretty well. I opened the packaging and rinsed with water before throwing it into my acrylic green algae tank. The magnet in the tank floated away, but the part of the handle on the outside of the tank had the stronger force of the Jedi Knight's tractor beam, pulling it back against the wall, where it eventually flipped and stuck to its other half. I began gently brushing with this algae cleaner in the recommended direction and to my surprise my crusted algae started to come off (except for the corners and edges). It's a strong big magnet, so don't put your fingers in between. I'm confident and haven't seen any new scratches on my acrylic pool (when cleaning the walls, be careful not to get gravel or snail eggs stuck between the magnets). I wish I could find this sooner and save $50 on the UV filter I bought. Now only if I could find a super powerful magnetic algae cleaner for the corners of the aquarium.
