Since the late 90's I've bought about 10 portable players, sometimes Sony are good and sometimes Panasonic. However, I have always used Sony car kits and when my old one broke I decided to try the Panasonic kit featured here. And I'm telling you, hell not good! I had to crank the car's volume up to the max to even get the music on, and also let the speakers sizzle. The way this kit works is that the CD player has less milliwatts of power, less output milliwatts headphone jack and to top it off the tape adapter where the head no longer makes full contact with the head of the car deck. All these bad qualities correspond to a fairly compact player and cannot play tunes from your car. I just bought a Sony D-EJ368CK and it sounds great. Switch to Sony!
