Having a home theater in my basement was a highly anticipated item on my checklist and the quarantine period gave me the opportunity to act on it, so my wish list was good quality, good trapeze setting as i want it to be portable and use it occasionally in my attic and thirdly it was very important that it wanted to fit in my budget of around $250-300 try this projector. And overall I'm very happy with the product, some of my observations are positive: 1) Excellent image quality and lots of customization options in the menu. I think the native resolution of 1080 and 6800 lumens helped the image quality a lot. and I was projecting onto a white wall without even using a projection screen, I think the projection screen takes it to the next level. 2) I used my laptop to stream a 4K movie and after playing around with the video settings a bit I got almost the same image quality as my laptop on the projected image from this projector so that's great for me . 3) The next big plus is the sound quality from the projector itself, initially I didn't connect it to the soundbar and I'm pleasantly surprised by the quality and output of the speaker, I naturally felt sufficient at just 55% volume, later I got the soundbar connected which took it to the next level. But if you don't want to connect it to external speakers, you won't be disappointed. I didn't notice that at all, no matter how close I got to the screen I didn't notice that grid or blurry image. 5) The remote control is very easy to use, lots of options and the UI is very well done. 6) The next big thing for me is the easy focus and 4D keystone correction, 50 degrees vertical and 50 degrees horizontal, which gave me a lot of flexibility in projection angle. This is very important as I couldn't project directly from behind in my attic, but I could project at an angle but was still able to use keystone correction and get a perfectly square screen. A few areas where I wanted more: 1) Every time I do a keystone correction, a different blue screen loads, although it's good that this blue projection on the screen gives better visibility, but I thought it was nice to project a real movie screen, so I put it on You don't have to press multiple buttons to return to movie mode. 2) Contrast seems to be very sensitive on this projector, that may change when I get a projection screen, but I lowered the contrast to almost 6 to improve picture quality. 3) I sometimes heard a buzzing noise from the soundbar when I even plugged it in, so I had to unplug and plug it back in several times to get rid of the noise. . Once he gets better, he won't come back while watching the movie. Overall, I highly recommend this home cinema projector. This is not a 4K projector, but excellent image quality for a native 1080P projector.
