Review on Gold Toe 633S Fluffie Casual by Marc Sortijas

Conflicting reviews - My purchase of May 27, 2014

I read reviews (both negative and positive). Still decided to buy the socks for comparison as I've also been wearing these gold sock fuzzies since the 1980's: 1. These socks are different from my previous purchase. I notice that one reviewer pointed out that there is a lot of lint left over from the socks that remain on the feet after the socks are removed. I had the same problem with previous purchases. I would track sock lint anywhere, even after multiple wears. But not with this recent purchase. Although I'm not aware of the designs of other reviewers who said the sock cuts off circulation in the legs or doesn't stay in place. I haven't had any of these issues and never with Gold Toe socks. I wear size 13 shoes, so I'm not a small guy. If I were an overweight person then the rambling comment would probably have some sort of creed, but at just over 200 pounds I have no problem keeping my legs fit. I note that the current fuzzies are a different design, but one reviewer pointed out that he can "see through the sock." I can't, and once again I'm not a little guy. See comment above. These socks appear to be designed/designed more like business dress socks than casual socks. I feel comfortable in my casual shoes/boots and look damn good in my dress shoes. I am very satisfied with the socks I bought from Revain (a little less than in department stores for the price and with free shipping). I don't have the same problems as those who wrote reviews. And I *definitely* don't miss all the fluffy socks I used to have. For me, this purchase is two thumbs up. slightly different sock, with some improvements.
