I'm increasing my rating from 2 to 4 stars. It still has problems: I sent the first one back because the remote control didn't work and also the suction cups came off VERY easily. However, the random turning on and off issue may be due to a remote issue. I've noticed that this light sometimes flashes and lights up when I turn the volume up and down on my Roku (TV streaming device). So I come here to fix the situation and give the product a higher rating. This is not a malfunction of the unit itself, but a strange cross signal with the remote control.
