UPDATE: Approximately 6 weeks in this replacement case, button press is already peeling off. That's why I bought. The original was worn out. Fail This is indeed a replacement for the original Chevrolet key fob shell. An old and worn case can easily be replaced with this one. Be sure to order the correct version. My car has a remote start button but not in this case. So I learned the hard way and ordered the right case. This also worked perfectly. You will break the tabs by taking apart the old case. Don't worry, this is the exact same case and you can use the back of your old case while keeping the Chevy logo.
