We usually sleep with the ceiling fan on. I was looking for a small fan for our cruise to Alaska next year to keep the air moving for sleep like it used to be. I took a chance choosing this fan based on size, load capability, and fan speed. In a few weeks we will be leaving in a 2004 Thunderbird for a 10 day trip to Minnesota. Packing space is tight. This fan is easy to pack and use. The stand is perfect for using the fan at night. Once we receive the fan, we can use it at outdoor concerts this summer. It's light and easy to hold. We were surprised and pleased with the speed options.
