Does exactly what it should!
Worth every penny. A bit pricey but you get what you pay for! Use right away and my sauce simmered all day without scalding my expensive sauce pan. Of course, regular stirring is important. I have a gas range and this is a must for recipes that require hours on the stove. Discolored but that is to be expected as it is aluminium. Buy it for functionality and practicality, not looks!
