The fan works well, that's why I bought it. The hot flashes have been driving me crazy lately so I wear this around the house and it makes a difference. It's actually more convenient than it looks. The fan is not too loud. And it is very easy to use and charge. It seems to last a long time and I haven't run out of battery yet. I have a fairly long skinny neck, but my husband, who is built like a linebacker and has virtually no neck, didn't find it that comfortable. Actually, I was able to wear it when I went to get my hair done the other day because the hairdresser's coat was so hot around me. The only time I took it off was after washing my hair. The hairdresser didn't mind at all. I've only had the fan for a little over a week, so I'm hoping it will still work just as well in a year's time. Crossed fingers!
