I bought this unit to fit in a camper wet bath, I mounted it directly to the wall and it stands separate from the wall. The wet tub is a complete wet zone and I need a first aid kit that is lightweight and lightweight. It is made of durable polycarbonate plastic. It's lightweight, so weight isn't an issue if you're traveling with a wall first aid kit. I used 3M VHB tape on the back of the unit and wrapped tape around the entire perimeter to keep water out of the unit and taped strips of tape behind the unit where you can place shelves and some adjustable shelving areas. The device is easy to clean, largely waterproof and looks great.
