I received a new router and 5 packs of these cables with it, the cable I used to connect the router and modem was partially discharged which caused a lot of frustration in my troubleshooting process. I ended up swapping the cable for another one from the kit and everything worked. I also didn't expect these cables to be shorter than the ones I had, but that's not a fault of my product, more like a lack of forethought. my part.
