Have you ever balanced on a dining room chair and tried to reach a high kitchen shelf? Or have you had trouble with a folding step stool that doesn't fold or unfold easily? Yes, me too. The whole time. I bought one of these 16 inch Acko stools hoping it would put an end to those moments. He did this and more. As soon as it arrived and I started using it, I fell in love. No, it's not nice. And yes, it's short. Very short romantic characters. It doesn't even make me laugh. BUT, it's so convenient! ADVANTAGES: 1) DURABLE. It doesn't technically snap into place when unfolded, but is cleverly engineered so it's rock solid and stays in place until you decide to fold it back up. It also holds 300 pounds - it's a wonder it's still keeping me going after gaining weight on vacation. 2) SIMPLE. It can be opened and closed with a light hand movement. When folded, it's 1-1/2" wide at its widest point. When I'm not using it, I keep it next to my kitchen cabinets and it's almost invisible. 4) PORTABLE. 5) MULTIPLE USES This isn't the world's most elegant side table, but when there's more room (and guests) on the sofa than on the table, this is a quick and convenient solution for placing drinks, notepads or other accessories.6) EASY TO CLEAN. Wipe. Hose off. It is not picky CONS: 1) Beware the buyer: you will find that you need one in every room of the house.We're up to four and think we might need to add one more.
