I have built several ROKR projects with my family and have found their products to be very high quality. It's a great kit, but be aware of what these designs entail. Details are fragile. They're not unnecessarily prone to breakage, but this is a wood project with very small, brittle pieces. Handle with care. Read the instructions carefully. The instructions are very clear and consistent for all of these products. But such a project requires patience and attention to detail. There is definitely nothing to collect while checking Facebook. A wooden gear does not turn as smoothly as a metal gear. This is just the reality of such wood projects. There is some resistance when moving and things don't move as smoothly as if they were made of metal. Be sure to lubricate all parts that need it (according to the instructions). Instead of candle wax I use a dry silicone lube which works well and is easy to apply.
