Expensive but worth it!

I saw Peak Design all over Instagram and after getting their capture clip I decided to pull the trigger on this camera strap. For the record, I use it with my Sony a6000 and switch between my 18-105, my 85 and 35. It's a good strap, I like the material and the feel. It also looks good, especially compared to some other straps that look more utilitarian. I can't figure out how to easily and quickly adjust the length, but the length is fine anyway, so I just stopped worrying about it. However, it's nice to know that it's variable length and once I figure out how to set it up it will be a good pro. Another big plus is, of course, the ability to quickly attach and detach the camera from the strap. I see red anchors hanging from cameras all the time on Instagram and it motivated me to explore the brand and this product. It's so, so easy to press, slide 2 times and the camera is ready to go by itself! I use an anchor mount to attach to the bottom of my camera (because other configurations don't seem as stable) so it's impossible to quickly attach to other tripods and the like. Using a tripod is not a problem for me, but it may be for other users. It worries me that I can't place the camera safely because the bottom isn't flat anymore. Another good thing is that the anchors themselves also tell you when they need to be replaced and you get 2 spares in the pack. I know there are cheaper options but Peak Design makes great products so I was happy to pay money for a quality product. That's why I chose the cheapest strap that can still carry my mirrorless camera lol.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • A little wrinkled
